Jan Michael Vincent's character searches for his lost brother, Sinjin, throughout the show. Jan's character never seems to spend time actually searching for his mysterious brother, but occasionally speaks of him. We never knew or discovered much about this mysterious brother, Sinjin, or why he has an Asian name or what.
Does anyone else know more? -

String uses Airwolf to blackmail the Firm to provide information about Saint John.
I know it is never said in Airwolf, but to me it felt like blackmailing.
There are a few episodes, where he is actually looking for him.
One is in the first season, where String is fooled and a false brother is brought up to make String reveal the place where he is hiding Airwolf.
And in one episode he flies to Vietnam with some old army friends looking for him but doesn't succeed. String promised his brother that he will come back. I sure was heartbroken when I first saw this episode
