Do I Remember Someone Dancing In The Night

I "think" I remember seeing this movie, and there was a scene
that stood out in my mind far more than the whole movie, if
this is the right movie.
It is night I think, or sunset, and there is this guy
practicing martial arts, or dancing silhouetted against
the night sky.
This guy, who I think was Randall Tex Cobb really moved
so cool, and it was amazing to see this big ugly old dude
dancing in such a mystical way, I will never forget that
one scene, and would love to know how it came about.
Wonder if anyone will ever see this and have an answer? -

Yes.
The scene starts with the guys showering, shaving, etc, and some background music playing (Cream - Sunshine Of Your Love). One says to another "Hey Wilkes, you remember this?" Wilkes and one of the helo pilots start "prancing" (for lack of a better word). Cook turns music up, cut to Randall Cobb's character (sailor) performing what can only be termed as Tai Chi on steroids.
When I saw this, I had been in the Army for about 8 months, a very young, very impressionable new recruit having just passed Basic Training and Cbt Engineer training. My best friend Mark and I went through a phase of watching every Vietnam film we could, from First Blood thru The Boys In Company C, How Sleep The Brave and Uncommon Valour. This really made an impression, so much so I had to track down the track (I've been waiting so long, to be where I'm going, In the sunshine of your lu-uuh-uuh-uuve"), and memorised Hackman's stylised quote from Shakespeare - "That a man know a day's business ere it come. But suffice that day will end, and end be known. If if we meet again, then we shall smile. And if not, then let us say this meeting was well made".
mark and I loved that film. Every time we saw each other, we copied the handshake Wilkes and (Sailor's?) used, and when I left, we would utter "The Quote".
After leaving the Army in 1996, I moved away from home to Kendal following break down of my marriage, and between 1998 and 2000 saw him once (the day before I moved). I dropped him an email the following year, only to find that he had developed a brain tumour in 2001. I never saw him again: he stopped his treatment in Sep/Oct 2002 and died two months later.
Sorry for the off-topic comments, this film brings back powerful memories of a very, very happy summer 1984.
