I wonder how IMDB has fared since closing the boards? It was the main reason to go to that site from my perspective. I stopped using it to look up movie credits for the most part.

The IMDb is still around because folks are still paying money to place ads for the latest films and TV shows on it. As long as Amazon still exists (IMDb is in bed with Amazon), then the IMDb will continue to exist as well.

I know it still exists. I mean is it popular? Do people use it as much anymore? If so, for what? The boards were the lifeblood of that place.

I think people now only use the IMDb for information. They also list names of cinemas with the current movies playing at said cinemas and times the movies are playing at.
