How have we allowed the average person to become so stupid?

Fugazi, Millard, Pandora, Warren, Crypt, whoever is behind the Conman persona, and a huge proportion of the people who post here. How are they seeing the state of the world and then coming to the conclusions they're coming to?
It's like tasting a simmering stew, deciding it tastes too salty, adding more salt, and then being upset that it tastes even more salty.
The more socialist the world becomes, the ****ter it gets, yet these people just shout more aggressive demands for increased socialism.
The only conclusion that can be drawn is that they're too stupid to understand what's going on.

Every jackass proponent of socialism thinks that it has never been done. [It has] That all the communist countries are not REALLY socialist. [They are] That if only we did it we could get it right and make it work this time. [Not possible]
The real problem is that socialism is not the perfect model for reality that socialists like to pretend it is.
Socialism ignores human nature.
You can not make a system work when it doesn't account for the behavior of the systems main component. The primary reason socialism will never work is because in order to work all humans in the system must be perfectly altruistic all the time. That is the complete opposite of what humans are.
