Christine’s first victim is the factory worker checking underneath her hood. Christine slams her hood on the worker’s hand, severely injuring him. What did he do to deserve this? Christine usually only hurts people who piss her off, like the black factory worker who puts a burning cigar on her seat or Buddy Repperton and his friends who destroy her and s/hit on her dashboard.

Maybe to show this is a movie about an evil sentient car?
She also murdered the owner of the junkyard and he also didn't do anything to her.
I wonder about her motivation for that.
And I thought the black worker just flicked his cigar ashes onto her seat instead of leaving a burning cigar there. -

OK well I forgot that just like how you had the Mandela effect with the black worker and the cigar.
He was pointing the gun at what he thought was a driver.
Either Christine did not realize that or didn't care and was a murdering bitch to him anyway.
In regards to the factory worker and hand plus hood.
Just use your imagination and whatever answer you come up with is what it is.
I am going to go with what I suggested earlier no matter what anyone else says or thinks.
There is no right or wrong here. -

Are you trolling or are you clueless on how cigars are smoked?
Why would he put a burning cigar on the seat if he was still smoking it?
He just flicked some ashes onto the seat.
Go back and rewatch that scene which is on here at 3:50 and see I am right.
It's OK
The Mandela effect happens to all of us with scenes in movies. -
