Question for all the guys who might have liked Diana or the blond fifth column girl.
I wonder what sex with the visitor would have been like in their human disquise, I mean you wouldn't know they're reptile underneath so would it feel the same? -

trying to keep a straight face here.
i could offer a theory but it would be a long read.
diana experimented by getting brian to have intercourse with robin. at that stage robin didn't know he was a reptile underneath. afterwards she described it as "interesting".
the visitors mated with each other differently. do u remember the scene straight after when diana wanted brian to show him how it's done "the human way"? he seemed disgusted by the suggestion.
ok i probably haven't answered the question but was it a serious one in the first place? -

I remember that scene with Diana and how Brian looked disgusted at her for asking to do it the human way.
The question was serious because they have done this in the new series too but in reverse. Earth boy mated with lizard girl.
I'm thinking that under the human skin they are almost the same as us. But in the case of the female like say Diana maybe where we humans would keep our genitals is located elsewhere.. maybe on the back.
The new series didn't go that far into this either. -

Visitor male (Ryan?) has already made a human female pregnant in the new V. I've tried to watch it & get into it & it does not help that here in the UK were are several episodes behind. When Ryan does tell a fellow 5th columnist that his partner is pregnant, the reaction is one of "that's not possible!".
Perhaps the human body suit does come with human-like sexual reproductive organs?
Same would apply in the original V.
I take it the human male/visitor female you mention is Tyler & Lisa? Hmmm I wonder what his mother would think. She knows they are reptiles underneath though not sure if she knows Lisa is a Visitor? -

The new series screwed up, in too many ways and certainly without the depth - at least for the few episodes I bothered to sit through if human male and visitor female got busy, I doubt they went into the detail the 1983 miniseries did, or even the 1985 miniseries that lazily overlooked the setup. The 2009 reboot simply didn't seem to bother, relying more on
spectacle
than sincerity, so I doubt there was much substance apart from the obligatory sex talk (for the sake of spectacle than anything of detail or depth).
If they have compatible parts (e.g. less reptilian), and already knowing they are cold to the touch (something conveniently forgotten in the 1985 ill-fated TV series), it would be weird.
Some reptile species, skinks, chameleons, et al, do have young incubate inside the mothers so intercourse is technically possible. Some lizard species do have an external organ for the males, even if the organs that create the DNA are still housed internally. Evolution would, in a fictional setting but based enough on real life science to remain
sci-fi
and not
brainless fantasy
, could still allow lizards that evolve to bipedal form and walking on legs to have other similar attributes. The Visitor race had similarities to humans but still enough differences.
I suppose if one added bubble wrap inside a blow-up doll one could get a not dissimilar sensation. -
