The token black dude is a reverse stereotype in a way (more cultured than everyone else), and so are the Texan (only pretends to be dumb) and the Japanese guy (not a genius since he can't solve the Rubik's cube). The Brit general and the girl are combinations of old and new stereotypes (he's an uptight gent, yet completely ineffective and she's a strong independent woman, but also "knows her place" in the unit's hierarchy). The Italian is just kind of there, barely a character, let alone a stereotype.
I guess the Russian adviser is a stereotype, but more of a comedic stereotype than ethnic.
The only "American" in the group might be the most non-PC character in the whole movie, yet his characterization might be the funniest (in a twisted way). The only guy with the US flag amblem on his shoulder is an actual American (as in Native American) and his dialogue makes him sound as the most nationalistic patriot in the group ("America, F Yeah! style).
The French guy is the only one who is used a total stereotype (only thinks about getting lade).
