Right after the scene where the boy climbs up the roof in order to get the frisbee they show the girl drying her hair and the father in the bathtub. I kept wondering if the boy had died or if they had cut a scene.

I'm not sure what you watched because there's a whole chuck of movie that comes between frisbee and Mary drying her hair.

[Added later]: Yes, now I saw it. I must have dozed off for a few minutes. I was lying on the couch. You're right.
        (I watched it on YouTube:
        .
The running time is the same that's advertised on IMDb, 93 minutes. I don't see where this chunk would fit in.)

Yeah looks like you missed about 15 or 20 minutes.

I do remember the scene when I saw the movie long ago but YouTube cut off parts 6 and 7 😞
Kevin is going across roof passing the French windows when suddenly one opens and knocks him off. Instead of showing the impact the scene cuts to kitchen where mom pulls watermelon from fridge she ends up dropping the watermelon and it goes splat on floor at the same time Kevin would have went splat. I think it could have been Mary's calling for her that startled her to drop watermelon. I only remember that part and the funeral tho not sure if that was the whole missing minutes

Yeah, I remember that scene cause it showed something or someone rushing him from the inside and then the cut to the watermelon splitting.
It was kinda gutsy to kill off one of the kids. This movie is the best. The ending scene is awesome.
