Unfortunately it is in an episode of Hollyoaks. Still though it will be nice to catch up with old friends again such as Nuthead, Swingbad and Taggart the dog.

I think I heard something about how the folks from Hollyoaks caught the same bus as the folks from Brookside (Or something) but I can't quite remember what it was all about. Something to do with the shops…or was it a crashed train off a bridge…?
Anyways, it'll be interesting to see how those old luddites from Brooky will show their drip to the young uns' of Hollyoaks, that's fo' shiz!

Oh I don’t know. It all blends into one after awhile and everyone has their own unique memories of it. In my head it was a helicopter crash which brought them all together.
Anyway as you say, it will be fun to see how things gel together and if the now real life residents of the close get annoyed at camera crews being there or not. -

The long haired guy that died twice (Once on a bus if I remember correctly) might show up again - I don't see why not.
Or there could be an Enders crossover. I have it on good faith that the new showrunner there used to run the show on Hollyoaks

Well I would personally prefer it if they kept any Hollyoaks characters well out of it. Just have them show up on Brookie Close, say ‘bye bye’ and just let the old guard show the world of today how a soap opera SHOULD be done.

The Brookside bits with the Brookside characters were quite nice when it wasn’t dealing with the Hollyoaks nonsense of Mick Johnson faking his own death and living in Hollyoaks as someone else. -

So they did go for a crossover episode where an actor from one is also an actor in another (Obviously different roles…but not really!!)

Yes apparently the actor plays a character in Hollyoaks these days so they just made him Mick Johnson under a new name…
Bobby would have loved it though because his namesake was in it. Ricky Tomlinson was back playing Bobby Grant! I hope that he knows about it as I would hate for him to miss out. -
