              Explain.
Yes, I know that's the movie he and his parents were watching the night they were killed, but not seeing how this picture suggests anything about his mental framework or Zorro.
              I have no legs

                In Grant Morrison's
                Batman RIP
run an older comic cook story from the late 1950's was sort of rewoven into the modernity of that time.
That story being the Batman of Zur-En-Arrh. In the original old story Batman gets transported to a planet called Zur-En-Arrh and meets their equivalent of Batman who is dressed similarly but with different colours. The two team up and take down a massive robot army and our Batman has Superman like powers on this planet due to…comic book stuff.
In the modern time Batman undergoes some psychological experiments with the idea of creating a back-up personality should Bruce/his own mental acuity become compromised beyond repair. Well, it's just as well that he did because at some point after that Bruce mind is shattered by having a whole load of soul crushing scenarios and outcomes sent his way and he is left deluded and beaten, his enemies have finally defeated him.
That is until the back-up personality kicks in and forces him to regain his sanity (Through insanity) and dresses as the original Batman of Zur-En-Arrh did.
                In
                Zorro, The Gay Blade
Zorro's long lost twin brother Bunny shows up to replace him while he is injured. This brother is flamboyantly camp and has a new take on how Zorro should fight the evil men of the cartel. He brings along a whip and changes Zorro's colour scheme to lemon, plum, and scarlet - indicative of the Batman of Zur-En-Arrh's colours.
Therefore the inclusion of this particular 1981 movie in
                Joker
has justifiable weight in keeping with the comics mythos.
I doubt this is a heard it here first moment but that's why I created this thread
