no news crews????????

There were news crews, the story was constantly on the news as it happened, it was only a minor part of the story though, and speaking of this film, realistically wouldn't the army dudes have stormed in and brought them out on the first day, seriously, I know the kids had weapons but a bit of intimidation and tear gas would have got them through.

I would say "local" news im sure the army could have but like "First Blood" it was the National Gard / weekend warriors/ morons .I think Ronald Reagan would have been on TV maybe asking the boys to surrender.this movie is pretty ridiculous

OMG my gym coach in 9th grad said "boy one of theses days were gonna go round and round" or maybe he said "were gonna come down to blows" I still remember ..kinda in taps that guy said one or the other ..it really brought me back I was like DAMN my gym coach said that same thing to me..DAMN thats off the hook
