Motel Hell. is a cool one more a comedy than horror but still good
Dead and Buried. the uncut version is awesome
Halloween II is descent
Deadly Blessing isn't that gory but some good scare scenes
My Bloody Valentine uncut version is awesome. one of my favs from the 80's

I'm very late to the party and i apologise if these have been suggested already, but the original Maniac is fantastic, with gore effects by Tom Savini (who did the effects for The Prowler too, as well as many other fantastic horror movies. If you want to see great gore effects, follow and watch the movies Savini has played a part in) and the original The Hitcher is one of my favourite slasher movies as well, pretty underrated in my opinion.
