That makes a lot of sense, no other industries, utilities, communication, or transportation in a primitive jungle country. Good place to build a plant. Also why couldn't they simply drop the SWAT guys off at the plant, especially if the plant was on the ocean to begin with?
What are they doing? Why do they come here?
Some kind of instinct, memory, what they used to do.
