If doctor Loomis would not have fired his gun.And made the cop turn around and go back to the hospital.Would he have been able to shot Michael in the head?When he was breaking down the door?

I agree. The intention of Carpenter was to kill off Myers. He was shot in both eyes, didn’t die and then was turned into a human fireball. We even see a close up shot of his head being burnt to a crisp. With the exception of H20, all other Halloween sequels are rendered moot to me.
