I read the book, and I could not imagine a more miserable human existence. Cold, darkness, rust everywhere.. Gave me nightmares.

Great story by James White, possibly the essence of the plot in the movie came from it, I liked this movie, but then I'm a Sci-Fi fan. Very rare for a Sci-Fi movie to have a good plot especially a made for tv movie.
