Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Galaxy of Terror

If anyone has bought either the Galaxy of Terror steel book release or the latest 4k, could you tell me if:

    1. The visuals are more clear on the worm scene than in previous releases?
    2. If there's any additional extra beyond the "Tales From the Lumber Yard" stuff (great stuff too BTW) in the Shout! DVD?

I got this yesterday, but sadly I didn't realize that I needed a 4K blu ray player to play it lol. I have a normal external blu ray player connected to my PC. Even with that it seems I need some specialized software and potentially flashed hardware to play/rip these on a PC. I'll let you know how it is when I get a blu ray player that will play it.

Thanks! Yeah, I haven't bought a 4k player or TV yet myself.

I had this sent over to me a few weeks back. Shout shipped his out early than the releasing date. A friend in the USA had his on 1-28.
It’s really clear and sharp. Sadly the worm scenes seems darkened on regular viewing. You can adjust setting to your desire but normal mode is dark. I notice some more details as the dirt on her body. Like she had it on her butt in the first raising up part. Also you can see almost drips of slime on her legs.
Sadly it isnt most complete version. Nothing else is new. The 88Film UK disc has the Apone making of Maggie maggot interview but not on the new 4k. The interview sucks.
