This is part of a Republican driven ban on books about diversity. Why is it people think it’s the Democrats that are pushing to limit free speech?

This relates to a comment made by Tim Walz who misspoke and said hate speech isn’t protected by law. People have taken an off the cuff comment and used it as a lightening rod to declare Democrats want to limit free speech. Yet it’s the Republicans who openly advocate limiting voices through policy and legislation.

Yes, whenever a Democrat exposes themselves for who they are just misspoke. Democrats have been bullying social media companies and shut down or limit people on the right for a long time, Media Matters is a leftist trash organization literally designed to shut down right wing voices. No book bans but they just removed all the “offensive” books from shelves so no one has access to them. So basically a book ban. Don’t play stupid.

That's also false, you can buy any book you want in FL. Maintaining age appropriate books in schools is not book banning.

Again, you've provided no evidence it actually happened, why it happened, if it was done by the FL state government and you can't show that any of these books are not available to purchase in FL. This is not a book ban.
