Is Superman's suit made of retractable crystal-like Kryptonian tissue?

As well as his "Clark Kent clothes".
There are several scenes to suggest that, in truth:
1- SM1 and SM2. All times in which his "Clark Kent clothes" just "magically" disappear along the run. That could be his superspeed (I mean dispatching them at superspeed), or maybe the clothes are made of Kryptonian crystal-tissue that can shrink and be "stored" for later use.
2- The scene in which he uses the Red Sun Chamber in "Superman II". His Superman suit disappears, and he wears regular "Clark Kent clothes".
What do you think about it?

Although I don't think it is addressed in the movies, I've heard from Superman in general that the "Clark Kent" clothes gets squished in Superman's super hand into a tiny ball and disposed. I've also heard that his aura exists for a couple of millimeters off his body which explains why his Superman suit isn't shot up with bullet holes, etc.
