I'm of course talking about Aura and Dale. And I'm talking about both then, when I was 16, and now, 30 years later.
Dale's pretty, okay, but as someone else commented, that "be sexy" spell that Ming uses on her - nope, nothing going on for me when that happens. And Aura? Let's start off with that accent - just not sexy. And her eyes - bleah. There's just nothing really going on.
Mind you, if Aura was sitting on my lap working my joint, I definitely wouldn't object. But by the same token, I wouldn't go out of my way to get some, either.
So, like I said, more for you guys, I suppose.
I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well. -

so what you're saying is that aura could have you if she wanted you but she's just so much that you are intimidated to ask that's a pretty reasonable way to look at things
it's just funny reading all these posts with the same sentiment when it's not really about looks aura's just got so much and if it was about looks it would be about aura's style too to create that appearance and impression which shows an intelligence -

Aura's naughty, baby-doll voice was not only enchanting, but unnervingly arousing for me. The heavy accent(Italian-Estonian) may have been "foreign" for some. As for her eyes, maybe Aura went a bit heavy on the makeup, but the violet color and almond shape was really going on for me.
Now we get to the point where Aura is sitting on Flash's lap, and I think no man in his right man could resist that body, that face and those wiles. As another poster commented, Aura was just too damn gorgeous to be approachable or attainable for the average guy. She was every inch, the most desirable woman in the universe. -

I first saw Flash Gordon at a critical point in my development.
On a scale of 1/10, most of the womens in Flash Gordon were solid eights. Dale, who wasn't supposed to be especially sexy, was no less than an 8.
As for Princess Aura, the accent only enhanced her raw, untamed hawtness. 10/10
