MUCH BETTER THAN "LOOSE" IN FACT IT SHOULDN'T EVEN BE LUMPED IN WITH THAT AVERAGE AT BEST MOVIE. SERIOUSLY, YOU THINK FATS OR RAY CHARLES WOULD HAVE BEEN WELCOMED IN THOSE SIMULATED beep BARS. NOT QUITE, BUT STILL A FINE LITTLE WHITE FILM. WHOA! ARE THERE SOME DUMMIES IN HERE? HEARTBREAK RIDGE IS BETTER RATED IN HERE THAN THIS? YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO LIKE EASTWOOD TO KNOW THAT THAT IS JUST FLAT OUT WRONG.

I loved this movie and thought it was great to watch again! It brings back memories of when they would show movies like this back in the 80's and now all they want to show is movies of today.
Dedicated to USA UP ALL NIGHT and the fans of the show!

I was just thinking about the greatness of Eastwood getting Fats Domino into this country-and-western comedy, and then the (off-camera) duet with Ray Charles, yeah
Eastwood possessed some great musical taste (and still does) -

Of the whole crowd, Fats Domino is the most inexplicable. What in the world is Fats Domino doing in a Clint Eastwood C & W action movie, wearing a cowboy hat and singing "Whiskey Heaven"? I guess it's just that kind of movie.
