Still a cult movie?

I read about this film In cult Movies 2 by Danny Peary, hired on video on the strength of his recommendation and loved it!
I have scoured the web and unfortunately can't find any fan sites for any cultists of the film. Which is a shame and to be expected as it is only a single movie & bombed at the box office.

I have read the paperback novel, by Paddy Chayefsky, which is a damn fine read but then he was a great writer.
If you know of any sites dedicated to the film let me know! I hope I am not a one person cult for Altered States.

It has not held up well. Many Atered States "cultists" have become atheists. This is a theist cult film. And there aren't many theist cult film appreciaters.
Made up that last word.
