If Hollywood decided to do a remake of this profound film, who do you think they'd cast in the lead roles?
Perhaps as Eddie Jessup, we might see Bradley Cooper or Topher Grace as the intrepid and inquisitive scientist?
And, perhaps as the cerebral and beautiful Emily Jessup, the director might cast either Jennifer Lopez or Kim Kardashian in the role? (However, for that final scene of a nude Emily, embracing her husband Eddie in the hallway, the cinematographer would have to employ an especially W-I-D-E angle lens to get all of Ms. Lopez's, and especially Ms. Kardashian's colossal "caboose" in that shot!!! (Think King Kong's derriere, times 10!)

Holy crap. Five seconds before reading this post I thought "Topher Grace" for remake.

Great ideawish we could do a grassroots "gofundme" for movie remakes AND original scripts.
