Think about it.
Poor petrified woman.
Gets left (to die?) on the hostile freezing planet (until Ash’s intervention)
Gets a face-full of blood during the chest burster arrival.
Wants to just escape and gets overruled by those who foolishly want to kill the alien.
Has by far the worst death - prolonged rape by the Alien’s massive spiked black tail and god knows what other horrors until her corpse is strung up. -

I thought Brett got his brain punctured like Parker? Isn’t he dead when Ripley finds him in the DC?
The DC fates of Brett and Dallas are nasty, but I’m still giving it to Lambert. Raped to death by a razor sharp spiked

In the DC he's turning into an egg. Dallas is less far along, and begging for death. Ripley's question "What did it do?" is also left hanging…And that's the scariest part!
There doesn't appear to be a hole in Brett's head, so maybe this conflicts with his fate in the theatrical cut. -

Also, Parker was going to save her by roasting the Alien with a flamethrower, he’s shouting ‘get out of the way!’ but she just stands there frozen in terror, so Parker has to drop the flamethrower and attack the beast with his fists.
He quickly loses the fight and gets his brain punctured, then the Alien moves on to Lambert and violently rapes her to death.
So Lambert’s uselessness gets both her and Parker killed.
Added to which indignity, in Aliens Cameron retcons her to have been a tranny. Her on screen file records her as being born a male:
‘Subject is Despin Convert at birth (male to female). So far no indication of suppressed traumas related to gender alteration’
No wonder Veronica Cartwright doesn’t often discuss the character

That’s H. R. Giger for you, his artwork consists mainly of biomechanical monstrosities covered in phallic appendages.
The Alien egg has a vaginal opening. The facehugger’s phallic proboscis erupts from a vagina in the ‘hand’ and thrusts itself down the victim’s throat. Rape is woven into the imagery of the creature.
The chestburster rapes itself
out
of the victim’s chest, and resembles a toothed phallus. The victim becomes a vagina as s/he involuntarily gives birth to the baby demon.
The final creature has an elongated glans-like head, and a phallic mini-mouth that violently penetrates the skull and brains of its victims. On the other end its tail - well, we’ve discussed what it did to Lambert.

Did you know about Giger’s early designs for Alien³? The Alien would have big feminine lips and ‘kiss’ the victim’s face, sending another proboscis down your throat and into your guts. This organ had latent spikes that would suddenly prick outwards, and the proboscis would quickly retract, ripping your eviscerated guts out of your mouth.
H. R. Giger was a ****ed up dude. He gave us great art, but I wouldn’t want to spend more than a few minutes inside his head. -
