Imagine being new to New Youk city,getting out of a cab at the height of New York city prosperity and culture in the late 70,s.Just like Clark Kent.Also jobs still paid enough back then to actually afford the rent on a decent Apt.

You mean the one with Christopher Reeve? There was one before that, Starring George Reeves…coincidence.
An independent studio, Lippert Pictures, released the first Superman feature film, Superman and the Mole Men, starring George Reeves, in 1951.
I love the first Christopher Reeve movie too. Superman had a heart and soul and a quirky sense of humor. Subsequent Supermen have slowly lost the thing that made the original so special.

I'll admit, I did like Man Of Steel,the big complaint about it was to many civilian casualties and destruction but what was Superman supposed to do,Zod would of destroyed the whole planet.
