So in the movie, Burt's character buys this contraption to wear under his pants and pee into since they're not aloud to go to the bathroom. Does anyone know if these things really exist and, if so, what they're called?

This probably not going to be much help - and I just saw it today and already forgot the specific name on the box - but I got the impression it was made for truckersif they're real maybe throw that in as one of the keywords in a Google search (trucker, pee bottle, Semi-Tough, Burt Reynolds).

It was called "The Motorman's Friend" and it looked like an antique. It was probably something bus or truck drivers would wear on long hauls.

One of the ex-football analysts on ESPN was nicknamed "Stinky" because he allegedly peed in his pants during the game. Sometimes you can catch one peeing on the sidelines during a game with a cohort of big linemen around him so he can't be seen.

It seems there was a self improvement group around that time, which is parodied in the movie that did not allow people to go to the bathrooms.
