I love how this movie has this extremely flip, hip, and kind of bitter post-Watergate anti-government 70's vibe to it. It's such a great cynical product of its time. The 70's was probably the one era in which you could make a conspiracy thriller in which NASA are the bad guys.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.

I'm interested in watching Capricorn One. I'm going to compare the SFX to 2001: A Space Odyssey. I can't help it and I know they probably won't be as good creating what Kubricks team made in 1 year instead of the 13 years I read it would have taken him.
