What version did you get? A few months ago, I posted a thread about why this isn't on tv anymore and someone recommended the Shout Factory release but now I'm reading here that that version may not be
all that
so, before I spend the money, I'd like to know which one you like.
I can only conclude I'm paying off karma at a vastly accelerated rate. -

If I'm understanding you correctly, the Shout Factory set doesn't have episode descriptions, is that right?
That really wouldn't bother me so much as music substitutions or the use of syndication cuts vs. complete episodes. If the Shout Factory version has the full episodes with the music in tact that'll be what I get.

The Shout set is well worth the money.
I've been a fan since the show was on and this set has 80-85% of the music and the ones that are substituted were done very carefully so that no scenes or dialogue would be missing or changed. There were some songs they couldn't get the rights to no matter how much they paid. The sound and picture is really good in my opinion with only a couple that were subpar. As far as descriptions that's not a big deal to me, just come on IMDB for the descriptions. Another words it's well worth the money if your a fan of the show.
