Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Orca

.if the old salty sea dog with the white beard had administered the kiss of life to the baby whale instead of blowing it into the sea with a hosepipe.
Orca would have been preoccupied with raising his calf as a single parent, too busy juggling part-time work with school-runs to bother Harris and the good people of the harbour.
    So much wisdom in hindsight.

Such an insensitive and stupid post for a movie dealing with loss and suffering. You obviously did not pay attention to the film. Nolan also lost a wife and child due to a drunk driver. Do you think that is funny when it happens to real people? It is not funny in real life nor in movies.

It's a cheesy horror film about a vengeful whale, not some social document. Lighten up and bore off.
