This Movie was a major Disappointment. I remember it being very hyped. I thought it was the quinesential alien movie. With it being a serious note of Spielberg with its counterpart ET. I was never able to watch this film but only once as a kid and I fell asleep on it. Theyve been giving it a lot with Space Odesey 2001. Now Space isnt a masterpiece film for me. Just a good film for film buffs. Hard to understand yet interesting because of its abstraction. I can see the attraction on it. Then I tried this one thinking it was going to be as good. Yea right, feel asleep a couple of times as an adult as well and couldnt get why was this movie made and what was the point. The whole idea is attrocious and badly made. It was so simple and boring. Unrealistic. People coming back to life in alien form and aliens living in harmony with humans as humans. Humans cant even get along with their neighbors let alone another species. Those idiots standing there as the aliens perfectly angelically come out of the spaceship. No army, politics, the entire globe there. I kept thinking something in the end was going to change the film radically. Yea right. It abruptly ended. Then it ends with that stupid tune I cant stand resembling something important when its anything but. Destroying the whole Roswell theme while they're at it. Probably Spielbergs worst. I much rather watch ET a million times over and still take it seriously!
