    Clayton seemed so anti-climactic. Yeah, it's a cool line Nicholson says to him, but after all that trouble, Brando just got his throat slit. How did Nicholson find him out there? And after the death, it just cuts to the next scene. No payoff or anything. By the abruptness of the scene I initially assumed it was some dream sequence of Clayton's, or Logan's.
    I was just expecting a bit more. Seemed a bit forced to me.

      i think the point was that Clayton was killing from afar, without looking at his victims eyes. Tom killed him from a close distance. Their eye contact was all that needed to be said.
