Emotion (1966) (Japanese Drama/Comedy/Horror Short)
This bizarre experimental short film (39 minutes) by Nobuhiko Obayashi is about a small town girl who moves to the city and befriends a variety of odd people (including Dracula). The visuals are highly energetic and employ a variety of techniques. Use of color is excellent. The editing is frenetic, but in an experimental and unusually engaging way. For example, sometimes the characters will move around the screen in what appears to be 10 frames-per-second. Scoring is great. There are even a few creepy moments as well. This is loaded to the brim with wtf moments that make it one of the best weird films Ive ever seen.
Highly Recommended
Here are some clips (the YouTube poster added modern music to it):

I still need to buy the US release of Hausu to see it but I really don't like double dipping on DVD's since I already have the Eureka release
