Would it be bad to make a movie where the actors are wearing covid masks?

It's hard to shoot around covid now, so I figured, what if I just embrass it and have the actors wear the masks throughout the entire shoot?
Or would this be bad? Take a movie like say… Parasite for example. If it was made a couple of years later, but all the actors were wearing covid masks throughout the entire movie, would that bring down the movie to the point where it would have ruined it? Or is it normal, and the times we live in now? -

If it's a time period film which must be set in 2020 then yes, all scenes in public should show the clones in covid masks. But few of us are stupid enough to wear them in our homes and in private, so most scenes could be shot without them.
If worn throughout the entire movie the film would be a joke and a box office flop.

Bad idea. Expressions on the face are one of the most powerful displays of emotion. It would ruin the movie. Movies are supposed to be an escape anyway. They don't need to remind us of how bad the world has gotten.

Would Casablanca be better or worse with masks? They would take away from the movie unless it played an active part in the plot. It a few years it would become dated and give the movie less a chance to be timeless.

Casablanca is literally dated during World War II, but it is still timeless.
So many stories, so little time.
