You could definitely see how that logic fits. Seemed like all the other characters bullied her because perhaps they sensed Carrie's innate predatory nature. Even Carrie's mother was afraid of Carrie. She used religion as a method of controlling the dark side of her daughter's nature. And Carrie's power seemed to have gotten stronger the closer she got to sexual maturity. Her period symbolizes that.
Carrie could have used her telekinesis to do good and do God's work like I dunno, anything positive to help others in her community. Rescue cats stuck on a tall tree branch, or help police officers, and so forth take your pick.
Instead Carrie uses her telekinesis to murder people because her nature was as a predator. It's that simple. She was an apex predator.
Don't believe me and you disagree? Well watch the film. Pay attention to the plot, and the story and what could have happened instead. Think about Stephen King's Firestarter which is about other human that are apex predators. Afterward, come post on my topic.
