Watching the movie on TV Land prompted me and my curiosity to do some research to find out what really happened to this kid cause the ending was just too open and frankly, lame for me so I thought I'd share it incase anyone else is interested- it took more research than I thought. Enjoy!

Thanks a million mouthylegs. I can remember my mum telling me about the boy and I have seen the movie not that long ago.
I didn't realise that the actual boy had died. What a strange life he must have had.
