I could have sworn there was a remake that was simply called "The Boy in the Bubble". I remember one scene where he had to go to school via video linkup in the classroom since he couldn't be in an unsterilized location. Does anyone know about this?

I haven't come across a movie remake or one called "The Boy in the Bubble". I originally came here looking for a similar movie that I thought had bubble in the title.
The movie I was looking for was called Crystal Heart.
"A 22 year old man who has lived inside a crystal room because of a rare illness, meets an up and coming rock star, and the two fall in love."
This movie was inspired by the life of David Vetter, who also partially inspired "The Boy in the Plastic Bubble"

It was in the 90'shis dad drove a Yoo-Hoo truck. He lost a game of trivial pursuit to George Costanza because of a mis-print on the card. Instead of Moors it said Moops.
