I agree with your ratings mostly, but I still enjoy Jaws 3 a bit, only because I was there while they were filming scenes at SeaWorld and I saw the same Water ski show that is seen in the movie. Parts of the park were closed due to filming though, unfortunately.

I enjoy the 3rd one more than most. Did you ever think the Simon MacCorkindale character and his friend were lovers, Toasty? I remember a post that asked this question and I don't know what they based their observation on, except maybe that the guy seemed very upset by Simon's death. Simon was absolutely gorgeous in "Death on the Nile".
The 4th one was dreadful. I remember reading where Michael Caine was not able to accept his Oscar for "Hannah and Her Sisters" because he was filing this piece of drek.

I can barely recall the 3rd one, because I have better things to do with my time than watch it. Its perhaps been about 30yrs since I last saw it.
I recall in the 80's when I brought it home on vhs for my folks to watch and my mother criticising it and saying how Jaws looks like concrete.
The 4th is hardly a blip on my memory, only the couple of times I've seen it, I was never impressed.
I don't think Caine's even watched it. He has commented that the pay packet bought him a nice house.

Underwater creature features can be difficult to get right.
Barracuda - 78'
became a completely different film in the third act and the barracuda got forgotten, not to mention that in spite of their sharp teeth, they are not that dangerous to humans.
Killer Fish - 79'
, with Lee Majors and Karen Black isn't too bad about sunken treasure and piranha. I saw it at that nice cinema I posted recently that I saw
Psycho II
at. It was a double feature with
Saturn 3
with Farrah.
Killer Fish
was on first and when this fat guy fell in the water and the piranha ate into his guts I got really shocked about what I was witnessing. I hadn't seen anything like it before in a movie. It made me feel sick and I got up to walk out but my buddy made me stay. I must've been pussy when I was 13…
