favourite Major moment

My favorite has to be his chat with Basil about women and his experience of them. Highlights:
Basil: Women!
Major: I knew one once. I must have been rather keen on her because I took her to see India. . . at the Oval. . .she went to the bathroom to, uhmm, to powder her hands or something. . .
Major: I love women, hate Germans!
Basil: What about German women?
Major: Good card players!!!
Also love the exchange with Manuel, Basil, and the moose: "I can speak English very well. I learned it from a book." -

Definitely the part from The Germans when he's talking about taking that woman to see India at The Oval!
Also, I just noticed it but if you watch that scene when Basil's arguing about the fire drill with the guests, and then Manuel comes out of the kitchen and Basil steps around the counter to remonstrate with him, you can see the Major trying very hard not to laugh. -

While Basil is smashing a pie into the face, and Manuel is pouring milk into the "spoon salesman's" briefcase, The Major, apparantly oblivious to all the commotion, nonchalantly asking: "Papers arrived Fawlty"?
