it sucks; you'd think they'd send someone less, or… more expendable or something… Rocco's one of the head bodyguards, even more than Al Neri (who survied the entire franchise)… and they send him on what's a mission of no return to kill Roth who's surrounded by cops at a crowded airport…

You did not understand that Rock-o was sacrifice him life. When the mans 'hired outta New York' was shooting Mighcull in him bedroom, Rock-o was responsible for security that time.
Rock-o is ole skool and understand one day 'he has to go' hana
