Trying to remember who that is. I saw a bunch of reruns growing up, but haven't watched it since. I really liked Leather Tuscadero as a kid, but in retrospect she's totally a product of the '70s and doesn't really fit the setting at all.

The show actually changed after the very first season after they went to a live audience.
It lost it's nostalgic charm.

It was around the second season, when they began filming it before a live audience, and when they made Fonzie the star of the show. He was no longer the mysterious guy in the light windbreaker who showed up once in a while. He lost his James Dean edge when they dressed him in a black leather jacket and made him the idiot who went around saying, "Ayyyyy!".
The older brother, Chuck, was no longer there, the stories didn't center around the Cunninghams and the sweet show that was set in the 50's lost it's appeal.
Look at the first season, and you see the difference.
