"Now nobody get nervous, you ain't got nothing to fear. You're being robbed by the John Dillinger Gang, that's the best there is! These few dollars you lose here today are going to buy you stories to tell your children and great-grandchildren. This could be one of the big moments in your life; don't make it your last!"

I loved that line from Homer Van Meter (HDS) "Things ain't workin' out for me today"right before the townsfolk surround him and blast him in the middle of the street. Pretty harsh violence for it's time period if you ask me.

Harry Dean Stanton got all the best lines:
- things ain't working out for me today
- drive! i got his gumball machine
- if you don't speed up (or was it slow down) i'm going to put one right in the back of your GD head!
- what's a man supposed to do?

Not so much as best lines, but when Dillenger tries to split the money from his raid with the mechanic and bank manager, and the bank manager takes his cut and says 'well, times are hard' before wishing Dillinger well.
A lovely scene
