They must because how can everyone find every single question funny all the freakin time?
I don't think I've ever laughed at a question and answer. Maybe a slight chuckle at some of the banter but that is rare.
And there are cases where a laugh track is used with a live audience.
Watch the game show Idiotest, also on GSN and you will see the crowd is just sitting there with the canned laughter playing after the really bad "jokes."
Damn, I'm good.
