Yes, it most definitely does. I noticed that last week in one particular episode for the first time. The criss-crossing is different, but the colors are the same, and the blue lines and sparkles are reminiscent of the blue stripes and stars of the flag.
Here's a screenshot in case anyone is wondering what we're talking about:

It was probably inspired by the flag. A lot of things get inspired by stuff from the unlikeliest places.

It seemed just..so bizarre to me. Couple that with having Nipsey Russell or Scoey Mitchell sitting right in front of it and the irony is utterly palpable, LOL!
And add in Super Match questions like "________________Tom" and "Black as _____________" -

There was one time when there was a question "This dollar bill is fake. Instead of a picture of George Washington it has a picture of George BLANK." The contestant gives the answer "Wallace" and the first celeb up is Scoey!
Gene: "She says George Wallace. Let's see Scoey's answer"
(Scoey has this angry scowl on his face)
Gene: "Okay, let's not see Scoey's right now."
Scoey: "Had the dude let me go to school, I'd have spelled his name right!"
(He turns over his card which reads WALL-ASS thus matching the contestant!) -

This takes PC cancel culture idiocy to a whole new level of stupidity.
The confed. flag has nothing to do with the show you dumb ****.
I bet you libtards are now going to stop watching MG with that harmless set because of your **** for brains sensitivity.
