Out of respect for Bill Christopher, let's all list some of our favorite Father Mulcahy moments from the series.
Here are some of mine:
Toward the end of A Holy Mess, how he talks down and disarms Pvt. Gillis.
"A War For All Seasons"- He's so looking forward to corn on the cob, only to discover the corn he'd grown had been creamed.
I think it was "Mulcahy's War", on two occasions, Radar comes in the room while Mulcahy has his head up or down, and each time, Radar assumes he's praying and apologizes for interrupting.
In "Rainbow Bridge", Mulcahy enters the tent just as Henry is exiting, he accidentally exclaims "what the hell" to the priest's face, then apologizes, saying, "sorry, Father, I thought you were a regular person."
His whole part in "Nurse Doctor." Especially, "she hugged the stuffing out of me!"
How he confronts Hawkeye in "Fallen Idol" then kicks the stove over.
The beginning of "Dear Sis", we see how he's taken advantage of by everybody in camp, and he takes it all with a grain of salt until he's pushed too far.

Because it aired recently, I love the moment in "Period of Adjustment" when Padre tells Col. Potter the story of Radar's early days of being company clerk and how he flourished when Henry took him under his wing, and how Sherman should extend Klinger the same patience. Also never forget that he lost his hearing trying to rescue the pen of POWs. He truly deserved that promotion.

His temperance lecture while he was drunk. I can't remember the name of the episode though.
Him saving that guy's life in Mulcahy's War.
Him having his moments of doubt after going deaf in Goodbye, Farewell, Amen
Him having issues with his deafness as well while laid up at his sister's (the sister) place on the first episode of AfterMash.
Alot of my other favorites (Like the "She hugged the stuffing out of me" thing from Nurse/Doctor) have already been listed. -

- His conversation with Hawkeye about Nurse Harris hugging him in "Nurse Doctor".
- All of "Dear Sis".
- Saving the soldiers life in "Mulcahy's War".
- His sermon in "Blood Brothers".
- His drunken sermon in "Alcoholics Unanimous".
- When he was talking to his idol "Gentleman" Joe Cavanaugh right before he gave him the last rites.
- Dealing with the AWOL soldier in "A Holy Mess".
- Singing while he was mixing putty in "Cementing Relationships".
- When he and Winchester found a way to get the supplies back from the black marketers who kept them and Charles' wine in "Out Of Gas".
- Being a counter weight for the chopper pilot in "An Eye For A Tooth".
There's more but I'll go with these top ten for now.

You've named many of my favorites, so I'll just add the moment in the black & white documentary-style double episode where Father Mulcahy describes how, in cold weather, surgeons would warm their hands over steam from the opened bodies. He rightly looked shocked, as that was a true story.

How about when he beat the guy from the 8063 (was it Jackrabbit Masters? maybe) in the race to win money for the orphanage and then makes everyone else donate their winnings at the last second. "Then they're not winnings they're losings."
He and Charles had some good heart to hearts too even though both were from different religious sects. -

You mentioned my favorite by a nautical mile, #4 the sermon from blood brothers.
I still cry like a baby when he admits his own pridefulness in wanting to impress the bishop then comparing his behavior with the soldier who was facing (at the time almost) certain death from leukemia yet wanted to stay behind to be with his wounded buddy. "He wanted I I wanted" just tears my heart wide open. -

I always loved the quiet strength William Christopher brought to Father Mulcahy.
His performance in "A Holy Mess" was one of his best, but he absolutely blows me away every time I watch his heart-rending sermon at the end of "Blood Brothers." Some of the finest acting ever on the show.
And his final attempt at writing a Korean war song always moves me as well. -

I loved when Hawkeye mentioned that Father Mulcahy looked like a B girl he used to know, and Mulcahy quips "It's quite possible. I worked my way through divinity school as a B girl in San Francisco." Just how he nonchalantly says it, and Hawkeye trying so hard not to laugh out loud. I also like when the nurse that had a crush on him is also one that Hawkeye has a crush on. Hawkeye says "I have stuffing that's aching to be hugged." And Father Mulcahy quips "Well you know what they saySome guys got it, and some guys don't."
