No he wasn't. Sure he wasn't a perfect beauty, like, e.g., Seth Adkins in "When Andrew Came Home" or Kelly Reno in "The Black Stallion", or Lionel Melet in "Trocadero Bleu Citron"
or Kacey Mottet Klein in "Home" or Jose Lafita in "Brecha" etc. etc.; but, c'mon - was he "ugly"? No, I think that's not fair

Well, it looks we'll have to agree to disagree on this one.
And showing off by listing films you've seen doesn't strengthen your argument.

          Hi DC1977,
you wrote "showing off by listing films you've seen doesn't strengthen your argument" - all right, that's a good point! (At least I tried to list only such movies which I would call excellent even if there hadn't been a young actor in it. In other words, I don't need dull or pointless movies only just for the reason they've thrown in some scenes with a good looking boy. If the movie is crap, I am not interested in it for instance, I bought A.I., some years ago, because I knew that H.J. Osment is in it. Of whom I had collected some nice "movie memorabilia" before. But the story really didn't convince me, I thought, no, this is not my stuff; so I gave away the DVD as a present.
Another example: Have you noticed how harshly was Lee Montgomery criticised for his performance in "Burnt Offerings"? Well, had there been only just the pool scene, that would not have been a sufficient reason to buy the movie, BUT I think the whole movie is just a very good horror movie which gave me a good thrill
To sum up: "Let's disagree, in a friendly way", OK?
          Regards
          sprendlinger
