It was suppose to sound intimidating (i.e. have no sleep for Valdez is coming), but it comes out kinda clumsy ("I'll wait here, while you go and tell him").

yes, you must be worried and very worried like el sugundo says 'valdez is comin'.
It is all about honor &respect in the wild wild west! The widow is poor and husband killed in a false encounter. And the land lord refuses to pay 100 something to compensate for this massive loss.
Who else to turn to for help? My maan valdez. He can shoot from more than 1500 yards.
For a modern social networking dude, it may not be a big deal. For some every penny counts!
