This movie is fantastic. I think it has one of Pacino's best performances, but it is overshadowed by other films he has done. I wish this film received more acclaim, it is truly magnificent.

this is a boring film, and he doesnt act particularly well in it either.

Whatever.
His acting is superb in this film he runs the gamut of emotions and you are right there in the story, with him. The film itself is nothing less than a masterpiece of 1970s arthouse cinema.

yes it was a good film and the producer said he cast completely unknown actors in leading roles,one of the actors being al pacino though the girl lead actress' career has since then remained relatively unknown. sad. overlooked actress.

Pacino's acting is too stage like. Too much exaggerated moves which De Niro also did in that era.
Its that man again!!
