I was always more a Columbo or McCloud fan. But in watching M & W recently, I've begun to appreciate the chemistry between Hudson and St. James. That was the shows strong suit, much more than the mysteries themselves. That's why it amazes me that the producers thought that McMillan alone would work after SSJ left.

I was small, but I remember it very well, possibly because of Nancy Walker. I'm not sure.
I always remembered the episode where they were locked in the house with the fumigators outside. I thought those guys were in on it and trying to kill them.
I've finally decided to record and watch these late night airings, as there is nothing else on to watch.
I actually enjoyed the Columbo movies, but have never sat thru McCloud. I remember seeing one recently a few years ago with A Martinez and Lynda Day George and it was not that thrilling and they had to land a plane (small plane).
