The way Sutherland gave that line, plus the line itself, cracked me up the most in this film.

The funny line I always remember is when Hot Lips asks (rhetorically) how such an loony as Hawkeye got into the army, and the padre chimes in without a second's pause to say, "He was drafted."

I liked most of the P. A. announcements, especially the ones about movies (I didn't know the first time I saw it that they were all real titles), and most especially the one about When Willie Comes Marching Home.
