Does anyone know who sang this song in the movie? The credits on IMDB state a "nameless band", but it sounds like the Lettermen.
Cats are delicate dainty animals who suffer from a variety of ailments except insomnia.

I believe it was an uncredited group of singers. The performers of the song in the MAS*H opening credits are John and Tom Bahler, Ron Hicklin, and Ian Freebairn-Smith.Timothy Brown (uncredited) sings it during the last supper scene.

Thank you - I noticed that earlier and should have mentioned it. They certainly did a beautiful job of singing that song.

The song "Suicide is Painless" was performed by Johnny Mandel and can be downloaded from iTunes.
