What happened to Harvey Logan?

Does the film reveal what happened to Logan (the one who challenged Butch's position as leader)? I don't remember seeing him in any scenes after the fight. Did he get kicked out for challenging Butch or did he stay with the gang?

It is rumored that, immediately following the "fight" Butch ordered that Logan be stripped naked, tied to a tree over an ant hill and left to die.
This of course is nothing but a rumor.
But it would have made a heck of a scene!

I like to think he and Butch had a drink and made up after the fight.

A Butch biography I read said Logan actually visited Butch and Sundance in South America.
